This peel contains three different acids to exfoliate the skin and promote cell regeneration; 10% salicylic acid, 10% lactic acid and 10% citric acid. These are known as AHAs or Alpha Hydroxy Acids – they dissolve dead skin cells and exfoliate the top layers of the skin. Salicylic acid works very well for oily and acne-prone skin, and citric acid gives the skin a healthy glow. Only one peel is needed to see the first results, but for maximum benefits between 3 and 4 peels are needed at two-week intervals.
