In Profilo, L-HA (low molecular weight hyaluronic acid) is slowly released from HA hybrid complexes and therefore does not trigger inflammatory reactions, making it highly biocompatible. It ensures hydration of the skin, especially in the epidermis – the Hydro effect.
H-HA (High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid) in Profilo provides a stable architecture of HA in the dermis. This gives a volumetric effect – the Lift effect.
Another advantage of the unique Profilho complex is the increase in the expression levels of type I and type III collagen in fibroblasts and type IV and VII collagen in keratinocytes. This results in improved skin quality and its hydration, both in the dermis and in the epidermis. There is also increased production of endogenous HA and elastin, giving the skin a more youthful appearance.
A new treatment in anti-aging medicine, Profilo has a number of features that make it different from any other aesthetic treatment available globally today.
In the manufacturing process there are no synthetic additives, such as BDDE.
The highest concentration of hyaluronic acid on the market
The mix of 32 mg of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (1100-1400 kDa) and 32 mg of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (80-100 kDa), goes through the patented thermal stabilization process, whereby it is heated and cooled (without to use chemical crosslinking agents).
Despite the high HA content, the Profilo treatment has a low inflammatory profile and has pro-healing properties, supported by clinical studies.
The fact that Profilo is a stabilized mixture of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid means that it takes longer to break down and therefore has more time to work before the body metabolize it naturally.
Thanks to NAHYCO’s patented technology, Profilo is not just a dermal filler or a biorevitalization treatment, it creates a new category of injectable treatments: bioremodeling.
Both dermal fillers and Profhilo contain hyaluronic acid. Dermal fillers are designed to add instant volume to the treated area.
Profhilo works differently, integrating into the skin and triggering natural, anti-aging processes and having a hydrating, toning and brightening effect. In addition, Profhilo does not contain synthetic additives such as BDDE, which minimizes the risk of side effects.
Both treatments have different but equally impressive benefits.
Before starting the treatment, benefit from a consultation with the esthetician from the AVRA team. You will discuss what you hope to achieve from the treatment to make sure that Profhilo is the right choice for you. Your doctor will also ask you questions about your medical history to check that the treatment is suitable and safe for you.
The treatment itself will be very quick, on average 10 minutes, depending on the number of areas to be treated.
The doctor will make a series of small injections to administer the treatment, in the BAP points (Bio Aesthetic Points). At the facial level, for example, Profhilo requires only five injections in strategic points in the face area. There may be a slight stinging sensation as Profhilo is injected, but this will only last a few seconds.
Two treatments four weeks apart will be needed for best results.
Profhilo is a treatment that does not require a recovery period. You will be able to carry out your usual activities immediately after the treatment and the esthetician will give you full aftercare instructions.
There is generally an immediate improvement in the skin due to the moisturizing effect, but it may take a few weeks before you start to see the final results of the treatment – because Profhilo encourages your body to produce its own collagen and elastin for an anti-aging effect.
Your skin will feel and look smoother, firmer, more hydrated and you will notice the lifting effect within the first month. It’s time for the second treatment. to fully stimulate collagen and elastin production and benefit from optimal results.
The results of the treatments depend on your health, sex, age, etc., and may be different from person to person.
