Frequent questions
How long does the organic tanning session last and when do you see the results?
The organic tanning session with DHA lasts about 10-15 minutes. The dark color of the bronze does not appear immediately, but after an hour. The final tan is visible after 8-24 hours. A beautiful and long-lasting tan must be maintained by repeating the procedure, a session once a week.
What are the risks and precautions?
The organic tanning procedure with DHA does not use UV rays, and it has been shown that this type of artificial tanning is less toxic to the body than… aspirin, caffeine and table salt. The risks are minimal and the results are guaranteed. It should be noted, however, that tanning with DHA does not protect the skin from UV rays. Even if the skin gets a certain degree of tan, it can burn in the sun as easily as white, untanned skin. Therefore, the skin should continue to be protected with lotions with a higher or lower degree of SPF, depending on the skin type.
What does the bronze obtained look like?
The original tan is dark brown (also called “Jamaican bronze”), due to the action of the tanner. After the bath, a golden tan will remain.
Will the bronze be orange?
There is no such risk, the tanning technique has evolved a lot in recent years. We have chosen for the clients of AVRA Aesthetic Institute the most advanced tanning method on the market, with natural results.
Are there any risks?
This is a process based on a tested cosmetic product, which uses organic tanning components. By avoiding the harmful action of UV rays, this is a healthy alternative to sun exposure.
How often should the procedure be repeated?
The frequency of application depends on individual preferences and results. For some people, a weekly visit to the beauty institute is enough, while others prefer more visits to get a stronger tan. Specialists recommend two, three initial visits in the first week, followed by a frequency of once or twice a week to maintain intense tan.
Is it recommended to apply it twice for the first time, for a more intense color?
If it is the first organic tanning procedure based on DHA, it is not recommended to overdo it, to avoid an allergic reaction. The recommendation is to have at least a few hours between sessions.
Can I have allergic reactions?
If the skin is very sensitive or allergic to self-tanning products, there is a risk of side effects. If you know that you have such problems, it would be good to ask your doctor before trying the procedure.
What happens if I inhale this substance?
Although there is nothing harmful in the formula for organic tanning to cause problems, the recommendation is to hold your breath during the process, when there is a possibility of inhalation.
What do I do if it gets in my eyes?
It is recommended to keep your eyes closed during the tanning process, even if the risk of irritation is minimal.
How do I do with my hair?
The substances are not absorbed into the hair and do not discolor/ color it, so wearing a protective helmet is optional.
Can it stain clothes?
As with any other coloring cosmetic, it can be transferred to clothes. In most cases, stains on clothes come out to be washed. The most likely time when clothes can stain is immediately after applying the product. Our procedure offers the optimal time for drying and minimizing the possibility of transfer, but we recommend wearing loose, dark colored clothes.
