How does it work?
During the consultation, the doctor will give you information about point G. Then you will be left alone in the office and will perform a self-examination according to the doctor’s instructions, in order to locate your G point.
During the treatment, you will be placed on the treatment bed, just like a genital consultation, and the doctor will locate the G point in agreement with you. After making the necessary measurements, the vaginal speculum will be placed and the local anesthetic injected into the area of the point G. Immediately afterwards, high molecular weight hyaluronic acid will be injected directly into point G. The injection increases point G, the final size of point G after injection being approximately 6 mm in diameter and 6 mm in height (protrusion into the vagina).
At the end a vaginal tampon will be inserted, with the recommendation to remove it after 4 hours. The entire procedure takes about 10 minutes. There is no need for a recovery period and you can leave the office immediately.
After the injection, it is advisable to avoid frequent wet places (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, etc.), 10 days after the procedure, avoiding sexual contact, 5 days after the procedure, avoiding activities that can create pressure on the genital area (bicycle, horse riding, etc.).
Most women experience the effects of the procedure 1-3 weeks after the injection (enhanced arousal, higher intensity of orgasms). If no improvement in sexual activity is observed, the injection can be repeated 4-6 weeks after the first treatment.
The G-Shot procedure can be combined with other rejuvenation treatments, such as PRP or radiofrequency treatments, to tone the vagina and address the problem of urinary incontinence.
